This course will cover common abdominal radiology concepts and techniques. First through identifying normal anatomy structure and then introducing common abnormal presentations. The GI system, liver, spleen, kidney, gallbladder, adrenal glands, and urinary system will all be discussed.
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
- understand proper procedure and techniques to capture ideal abdominal imaging.
- identify normal anatomy landmarks using abdominal radiographs.
- identify common indications to utilize abdominal imaging.
utilize abdominal radiographs to help identify common abnormal structures to add in diagnosis.
