This course is intended for recent graduates and veterinarians beginning in small animal general practice. We will introduce the fundamentals of general practice that should be followed by veterinarians every day. Emphasis will be given to the resources needed by practitioners.

- Understand the big picture and production curve in the day-to-day practice of veterinary medicine.
- Describe a common day in the veterinary practice and the various wellness paths available.
- Understand how to handle a severely ill patient and the choices you have when treating them.
